SCCT Club News

March SCCT meeting will be held at my house again on the 4th at 6pm. We will be making DIY frag racks. They will cost $5 a peice. If you have an extra magnetic glass cleaner you would prefer to use over suction cups, feel free to bring it. Also, if you want to bring food/drinks, go ahead.

We are a local group of saltwater hobbyist found here in the Central Texas area committed to promote responsible reef keeping and ecological preservation. Do you have questions/concerns about the hobby? Sign up on this site (registered web user's accounts are free) and I’m sure someone will try to help you out! This is a great way to meet other people like you, which are into the saltwater fish and reef keeping. We also welcome you to join our monthly meetings and interact with members. Next Wave Featuring The Corals Farmers Market(sm) Event.March 3rd, 2012, 8AM – 6 PM

This year DFWMAS is proud to announce we have teamed up our annual Nextwave event with Steve Tyree and The Coral Farmers Market sm Coral Show (http://www.da-cfm.com). Happy 20th anniversary everyone! We have stepped it up this year and will be at the beautiful ballpark in Arlington. Tickets will be LIMITED, so make sure to purchase them early. Everyone is encouraged to attend Next Wave 2012! — Think of this conference as going to Reef Keeping College for a day. Four speakers are being flown in to instruct attendees on successful saltwater care. After each presentation, which will be in the form of slides, PowerPoint, or video, attendees can ask questions from the speakers about the subject being discussed. scottyk: You should be able to find crushed Oyster shells at any farm feed store. I used to get it for my chickens.
